INTEGRATION OF OPERATING ROOM AT SANT PAU

Ditec Medical has completed the commissioning of the new hybrid operating room for Advanced Interventional Cardiology at the Hospital de Sant Pau.

Ditec Medical has integrated the ORisTIC Hybrid OR signal control system with Canon radiology equipment.

The operating room is equipped with a recording system, which allows capturing and recording sessions, as well as retrieving videos from the repository and editing these recordings. In addition, the operating room is equipped with a signal centralization and control system called “workspot” where all image sources are displayed on a single screen and can be controlled by a single set of keyboard and mouse.

As for the interconnection of spaces, it has a direct interconnection of the operating room with the main viewing room through fiber optics in 4K resolution, being able to send image compositions of up to 4 simultaneous signals and bidirectional audio thanks to the Shure Microflex Advance ceiling microphone system equipped with Dante communication protocol technology. This room is equipped with a large interactive screen to promote collaboration in working sessions and can capture live signals, make annotations on the actual images or make interactive presentations among many other applications.

The operating room also has a solution based on videoconferencing to communicate with the different viewing rooms available in the hospital and with points outside the hospital. These viewing rooms are equipped with large screens, together with the videoconferencing and sound solution.

The Quirófano’s audio system has been equipped with a high quality Quail loudspeaker and microphone system, which allows high quality wireless transmission without interference. It also has a piped music system among other features.
